Sacred Heart School’s fifth-grade students discover how bones and muscles work together by dissecting chicken wings during Mrs. R. Smith’s science class. The students removed the skin from chicken wings and took an in-depth look at how the skeletal system and muscular system function.
Sacred Heart second grader, Luke Ford, won “Principal for the Day”, and second grader, Jack Hill, won a chance to throw a pie at Sacred Heart Principal, Mr. James Faroh. Mrs. Rose Smith’s fourth grade class recently concluded their studies of pioneer life by writing and performing skits about everyday life in Indiana in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s.
