MILFORD — Ryan Brauen of Wessler Engineering was present at Milford’s monthly public town council meeting Monday evening, Oct. 9, to oversee the opening of bids on the town’s wastewater plant renovation project. UPDATE: Indiana Conservation Officers recovered the body of Dustin Reaker, 29, Bremen, from the Leesburg Quarry Sunday around 7 p.m. The investigation revealed that Dustin Reaker and Allen Stattler, 41, Dowagiac, Mich., possibly went ice fishing Friday night and never returned. Syracuse Town Council approved a bid for $140,627.30 from Phend and Brown for street paving during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night, Aug. 18. Phend and Brown also won a paving contract with the Turkey Creek Fire Territory for $66,778.20. Both contracts were bid together and each agency will be invoiced separately.
Bids for the first phase of Warsaw’s Market Street Project were opened this morning by Jeremy Skinner, city planner, and James Emans, city engineer.
