NORTH WEBSTER — The dust has finally settled from the seventh annual Heart of the Community Charity Auction & Raffle, which took place Saturday evening, Oct. 3, at North Webster Community Center.
The Lakeland Eagles Club of Syracuse concluded their 2015 People Helping People philanthropy campaign with a celebration and presentation of checks on Saturday evening. Pie Eyed Petey’s Polar Plunge into Lake Tippecanoe, Leesburg, Saturday raised much food for the North Webster Food Pantry but also a donation of $1,100. Proceeds were split between the North Webster and Syracuse food pantry organizations.
North Webster Food Pantry is the reason to celebrate at Rocktober Fest. Sponsored by the Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Club, it will be held at the North Webster American Legion Post 253 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
