NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Town Council found out at its meeting Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the North Webster Community Center the state mandated project for the wastewater treatment and collection system had come in under budget. Jeremy Sponseller, Triad Associates, Indianapolis, the town’s contracted engineers for the project, reported $178,274 remained of the estimated $4,099,000 project.

NORTH WEBSTER — A concerned citizen approached North Webster Town Council about the appearance of some of the town’s dwellings at the council’s meeting Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the North Webster Community Center. The topic seems to be a theme among area towns as both Milford and Syracuse have had ongoing complaints about dwellings having too much trash and abandoned vehicles around them.

NORTH WEBSTER — Citing its fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers, North Webster Town Council tabled an add on payment of $21,782 to Crosby Construction, Fort Wayne, during its Tuesday, Sept. 20, meeting at the North Webster Community Center.

Citizens of North Webster will not be choosing a town clerk-treasurer or council members in November. Because only one candidate will be running for each office, the Kosciusko County Clerk has decreed no election will need to be held according to Indiana law and the deadline for filing for office has past.
