This local grant award is part of more than $8.3 million in grants awarded to more than 1,000 schools, nonprofits and organizations across the 44 states that Dollar General serves. WARSAW — Jefferson Elementary third grade students recently wrote persuasive letters to convince new parents to read to their child. Kosciusko Literacy Services donated a board book to accompany each letter. Students hand-delivered their letters and books to the Kosciusko Community Hospital. Students were excited to enrich the lives of others.
The Friends of the Syracuse Library are bringing local author Jeanne Dams to Syracuse for a salad lunch at 11:30 a.m. April 24. A limited number of tickets are on sale at the circulation desk.
