ELKHART — A final status conference and a plea bargain deadline along with new trial dates have been set in the case against Kevin Bronson and Mark Soto. A telephonic status conference was held today Friday, March 10, in the Elkhart Superior 1 courtroom.

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Contemplating five witnesses may invoke the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the prosecution in the C. Aaron Rovenstine case has been granted use of immunity for these witnesses.

ELKHART — A plea agreement could be reached in the case against Kevin Bronson. The final date to enter a plea agreement and the date of the trial has been reset by the court.

ELKHART — Special Judge Evan Roberts, Elkhart Superior Court 1, has reset the jury trial for Mark Soto to April 11-13 and continuing April 18-21 in Kosciusko Circuit Court. The judge will not “entertain any additional continuance motions” in the case.
