Joan J. Poe, 81, North Manchester, Ind., died at 7:39 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Waterloo, Ind., to Marion and Esther (Benjamin) Dirr. She graduated from Eden (Ohio) High School in 1949.
