SYRACUSE — Preschool students at Lakeland Youth Center used recycled material they have collected this year to create robots.

Sabones spoke with the students about extreme weather, showing them picture slides of tornadoes, floods and avalanches. Greater Warsaw Cooperative Preschool visited the Warsaw Fire Station No. 1 last week to learn about fire safety. The students learned about what they can do to help prevent fires, safety measures if a fire occurs, and at school the students practiced Stop, Drop and Roll.
