Meteorologist Mike Sabones visited the 4-year-olds classes last Friday at Greater Warsaw Cooperative Preschool.

Sabones spoke with the students about extreme weather, showing them picture slides of tornadoes, floods and avalanches. He discussed safety methods that the students can follow to protect themselves when there’s a tornado.

Sabones also spoke about wind direction and demonstrated using an old-fashioned weathervane.
