WARSAW — It has been an exciting season thus far for Warsaw Community School Corporation chess clubs. Teams from Madison, Washington, Eisenhower and Lincoln elementary schools, as well as Edgewood Middle School, recently battled their wits against opponents at the Regional Chess Tournament in Goshen on Saturday, Feb. 27.
WARSAW — Washington STEM and Madison Elementary School students regularly enjoy games of chess when their respective chess clubs meet. At Washington, 65 students from kindergarten to sixth grade are members; Madison has about 68. Jay Bolduc, a choir teacher with Warsaw Community Schools, oversees both programs.
