MENTONE — Scouts armed with wire brushes and scrapers arrived in Mentone Thursday evening, Sept. 17, to do some serious cleaning. Burket Boy Scout Troop 782 spent about two hours scraping and cleaning the town’s historic cannon, which is undergoing restoration.
