SYRACUSE — Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce has long been a place to go to find information about what is happening in Syracuse, including at local businesses. To further that mission, it is sprucing up its website, www.swchamber.com, to make it an easy-to-use hub to find everything happening in Syracuse.

Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of Andrea Reed as its new executive director. Reed will assume her responsibilities beginning the week of April 4, following a short transition period working with Tammy Cotton, who has stepped down to pursue other community-based projects.

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Tippecanoe Valley High School to offer seniors a unique opportunity to become business owners. Called YEA, for Young Entrepreneurs Academy, this nationwide program offers an in-school model and after school model where interested teens learn to create their own business.
