The patriotic spirit was alive and well in Winona for the Fourth of July festivities that continued despite many activities around the country being canceled.

Amidst many local summer events postponing or canceling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Etna Green’s annual Fourth of July parade plans are still marching on. The owners of Etna Elevator brought the parade back in 2019 after years of the town not having an annual parade.

Events scheduled for the Fourth of July have been postponed out of the utmost care, compassion, and concern for the residents of Akron and neighboring residents.
