Akron

• The Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker competition will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the Akron Community Center.
• The Firecracker 5K starts at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 4, at Akron Elementary School. Registration is from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
• The Akron fireworks will be held at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Pike Memorial Park.

Chapman Lake

• Chapman Lake fireworks will be held at 10 p.m. Saturday, July 6. The rain date is 10 p.m. Sunday, July 7.
• A parade will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, July 5. The parade will start and end at the Chapman Lake Clubhouse.

Etna Green

• Etna Green is holding a Fourth of July parade at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 4. The parade will travel south on Walnut Street, ending at Heritage Park.

Leesburg

• The Lake Tippecanoe Flotilla starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Patona Bay.
• The Lake Tippecanoe fireworks start at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 6.

Nappanee

• A Fourth of July parade starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Lincoln Street and ends at Stauffer Park.
• Nappanee fireworks will be held at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, July 4 at Stauffer Park.

North Webster

• The Webster SkiBees Show will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 6 in the town park.
• Webster Lake fireworks will be held at 10 p.m. Saturday, July 6, with a special fireworks cruise offered by the Dixie Boat.

Syracuse

• The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Pops Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Oakwood Resort.
• The Flotilla Road Race will start at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 4, at Lakeside Park.
• The Lakes Area Community Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Lakeside Park.
• Fireworks over Syracuse Lake will be at dusk on Thursday, July 4.
• The Wawasee Flotilla starts at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6. The parade moves counterclockwise around the lake, starting at the Spink Condos.
• Fireworks over Lake Wawasee will be at dusk on Saturday, July 6.

Winona Lake

• The Winona Lake Flotilla will begin at 8 p.m. Friday, June 28. The flotilla begins at the Winona Lake pier.
• A Fourth of July parade is being held at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 29 at the intersection of Columbia Street and Park Avenue.
• The Symphony of the Lakes will perform a patriotic concert starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in Tabernacle Field on Park Avenue
• Winona Lake fireworks will be held at dusk Saturday, June 29, with a rain date of Sunday, June 30.
