A local man will serve seven years in prison after administering heroin to a man who died as a result of a drug overdose almost two years ago.

PLYMOUTH — On Tuesday, July 24, officers conducted an operation in Plymouth resulting in the arrest of Victor Yakas, 58, for dealing in a narcotic drug. He was lodged at the Marshall County Jail with a $25,000 bond. Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team officers also arrested Stanley Hite, 53, for possession of methamphetamine. WARSAW — A Tippecanoe woman has been arrested and booked for assisting another individual deliver methamphetamine after a July 15 incident.

WARSAW — Plea agreements were taken under advisement this morning, Monday, Oct. 26, by Kosciusko Circuit Court Judge Mike Reed on at least four individuals — Jason R. Bontrager, Gage M. Wood, Brandon L. Bolden and Sharee N. Latta. In all four cases, the individuals are facing drug related charges.

WARSAW — A woman who provided a pair of scissors to aid in a heroin drug deal has resulted in her arrest on a level 5 felony.
