The American Legion Auxiliary junior members from Warsaw Unit 49 and Pierceton Unit 258 recently helped spread some holiday cheer. Sewer Work To Close City Street

September 19, 2013

Beginning Monday, Sept. 23, High Street in downtown Warsaw, between Winona Avenue and Smith Street, will be closed for sewer replacement. The work should take approximately one week to complete, weather dependent. Emergency vehicles will not have access. Everest Excavating is the contractor performing the sewer line replacement.

Residents at 221 S. High St. have been without heat since last Tuesday and Janie Rager says, “This just isn’t right. We are grateful that the weather wasn’t too bad up until Saturday night, but as you know it is getting really cold really fast.” The 7-unit apartment building is now owned by Bowen Center, …read more.
