JASPER – The Warsaw Little League All-Star team went 0-2 in pool play this weekend at the state tournament.

The Major All-Star squad, which won the District 14 championship, lost 10-1 to host Jasper Saturday. Kevin Cruz had the lone RBI in the contest for Warsaw, which had three hits in the game.

Warsaw then lost a 20-8 final Sunday in four innings to Brownsburg. Jordan Diaz led the local team with three RBI.

The Warsaw squad, led by manager Ryan Weaver, is scheduled to conclude pool play today versus Wabash at 5 p.m.
