Friday is time to tickle the senses with the North Webster American Junior Auxiliary Bake Sale from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to tempt the taste buds. At 8 p.m. music lovers will enjoy entertainment by the popular brass classic rock and roll band Short Term Memories.

Saturday

Saturday is a full day of fun with an all you can eat breakfast buffet and the continuation of the bake sale. Both are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The car and motorcycle cruise in is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and prizes will be awarded.

A new twist on an old idea is the Poker Walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is $10 per person with a 50 percent prize payout. All proceeds to the cancer care fund for Mel May.

Music rules the for the rest of the day with the Music Jam at the Legion pavilion across the covered bridge. Bring your own seating to enjoy Classic Voice, Potsie’s Pastime and more groups.

Sunday

The event that started it all is Kay’s Dixie Cruise and Boat Flotilla. It will leave from the Dixie Landing in North Webster Town Park at 11 a.m. sharp for the cruise around Webster Lake. Boats wanting to join the flotilla can congregate on the lake in front of town park. Cruise tickets are being sold at the Legion, not at the Dixie ticket window. They are $20 each or $35 a couple. If available, they can be purchased the day of the cruise.

Captain Bob, the singing Dixie skipper, will perform during the cruise and afterward enjoy music in the park with Russ Chandler from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Again, all proceeds go to the Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County and are distributed to county residents who are cancer patients.
