Lucile M. Blocher, 87, died at 4:25 a.m. Sunday, June 21, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Minot, N. D. to Lawrence and Alice (Moore) Wray, both deceased.

On June 4, 1944, she married Ray M. Blocher. He died on Jan. 11, 2010.

She is survived by her sons: Alan Blocher, Laketon; Donovan (Penny) Blocher, Urbana; daughter: Vivian (Dale) Stambaugh, Silver Lake; brothers: Eldon Wray, Las Vegas, N.V.; Leroy (Shirley) Wray, Goshen; sisters: Wilma Metzger, North Manchester; Glenna (Terry) Parker, Silver Lake; sister-in-law: Marie Baker, Rossville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild.

Lucile was a homemaker and a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester. She was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester,in 1944, to which she remained faithful.

Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester. Her calling hours will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Burial will be at Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.
