Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

4:50 p.m. Monday, June 15, South CR 950W and West SR 25, Mentone. Drivers: Shane W. Hallstrom, 21, East SR 114, Akron, and Jennifer L. Caudill, 42, West CR 200S, Mentone. Hallstrom’s vehicle struck the back of the Caudill’s vehicle when he went to answer his cell phone. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:23 p.m. Monday, June 15, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Judith A. Paton, 68, EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg. Paton was backing from a parking space when her engine failed. While trying to re-start her vehicle, the vehicle rolled back into a parked vehicle, registered to Patty A. Lenon, Ivywood Drive, Warsaw. Damage up to $5,000.
