SYRACUSE – Wawasee senior Gage Reinhard made a big decision Tuesday as he signed with intent to play baseball for Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.

Reinhard has been a four year starter for Wawasee on the diamond winning the team’s Rookie of the Year award in 2012, Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 and was named to the All-NLC team in 2014.

Reinhard also found success on the gridiron and hardwood. He was named to the IFCA Class 4-A All-State team in 2014 for football and was Academic All-Sate for 2014-2015 for basketball, among other awards.

“The baseball program has become on of the better ones around and I am very excited to continue my career there,” said Reinhard. “I feel like God wants me to be at Taylor University and I am very excited to attend.”
