ELKHART – The Wawasee baseball team could not ride the momentum Wednesday night from the win over Fairfield. Wawasee dropped its Northern Lakes Conference finale 5-1 to Concord.

The Minutemen scored three runs in the bottom of the first then added two more in the fourth. Wawasee scored in the sixth inning thanks to an RBI from Gage Reinhard. Reinhard, Drew Anderson and Nate Prescott all had one hit each. Lucas Garza pitched five innings and recorded five strikeouts for the Warriors in the loss.

Wawasee (9-13, 3-11) will play at Lakeland this Saturday.
