Wawasee Hosts Academic Super Bowl

Wawasee High School hosted the Northern Lakes Conference Academic Super Bowl competition Tuesday evening in the main spectator gym. NorthWood was the overall team winner with four first place finishes in social studies, English, science and interdisciplinary.

Wawasee placed fourth overall with second place finishes in social studies and interdisciplinary, a third place finish in English, fifth place in fine arts and sixth place in math and science.

Northridge finished second overall as a team, followed by Goshen in third place. Warsaw and Concord tied for fifth place.

Students competing in Academic Super Bowl for Wawasee include Zoe Berg, Jerrica Bontrager, Colfax Cannaday, Jake Cowan, Owen Donahoe, Brandon Fox, Lacey Helfers, Clayton Hicks, Evan Krueger, Cachet McDaniel, Shawna Sautter, Jannette Schmidt, Ben Slabaugh and Josh Webber.
