Charles E. Flora, 95, North Manchester, died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born Jan. 11, 1920, in Mennomonie, Wis., to Abraham and Clara M. (Metzger) Flora. On May 17, 1941, he married Ruth E. Karn. She died July 26, 2007.

He was baptized in the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in 1940 where he remained a member thru out his life.  Charles was employed at Woodcraft Colo., North Manchester, for 23 years.

He is survived by three sons: Chester (Ginny) Flora, North Manchester; Dale (Jean) Flora, North Manchester; and Max Flora, North Manchester; one daughter: Mrs. Clifford (Martha Sue) Betten, North Manchester; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in Old German Baptist Brethren Church, SR 13 North, North Manchester. Home Brethren will officiate. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.
