WARSAW – The Warsaw boys bowling team will compete Saturday in the semi state in South Bend.

The team earned a runner-up finish in the regional held in Lafayette on Feb. 7. Rochester won the team title at the regional round of competition.

The Warsaw boys team is comprised of Jim Pifer, John McGurn, Jacob Sudlow, Caden Roberts, Chris Stichter, Trevor Stichter and Logan Vetor.

Coaches for the Warsaw team are Glen Ransbottom and Kirk Wyman.

The Whitko bowling team had a pair of individuals compete in the singles round at the regional level. Desire Galloway and Cory Hersha represented Whitko. Hersha earned a spot in the semi state on Saturday.

Coaches for the Whitko team are Ron Warren, Foy Banghart and Lee Nichols.
