Triton School Corporation will close early Wednesday, Nov. 12, in honor of the passing of a beloved staff member, Kenny Klotz. Schools will be dismissed at 1 p.m. to allow for the Triton staff and students who had known Klotz for many years to honor his memory and attend his funeral.

Klotz, 61, of Etna Green, passed away suddenly in the evening Friday, Nov 7, after work. He and his wife, June, served the Triton community for many years. He was a custodian at Triton High School for 26 years

The loss of Klotz has prompted the creation of a GoFundMe.com page to raise funds for a scholarship in Klotz’s name as well as the naming of the Triton basketball court in Klotz’s honor. A total of $805 has been raised toward the $2,500 goal at this time. To donate to the fund, click here.
