Dear Editor,

I recently got the privilege of speaking to Curt Nisly, the Republican candidate running for State Representative (District 22).

Curt mentioned to me that free people retain the right to arm themselves. Our founders knew an oppressive government first hand and knew that government must be kept in check through separation of powers and also through the power of the people.

I truly believe if the Second Amendment falls so could all of our other rights. I was pleased to hear today that Curt Nisly has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association. That and the endorsement this summer by the Gun Owners of America are just two of the reasons that this November I’ll choose wisely and vote Republican Curt Nisly for District 22.
