At 8:19 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Walnut Street in Etna Green to investigate a report of an attempted abduction.

According to a KCSD report, the complainant advised that her grandsons, ages 10 and eight, were riding bikes in front of her home. She stated that the boys advised her that an older white male wearing a red hat in a white passenger car had tried to motion them to his car.

Law enforcement was unable to locate the suspect. KCSD has been able to obtain security camera footage of what is believed to be the suspect vehicle. Those photos have been included here.

The suspect is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing. Police patrols have been increased in the area.
