HOUSTON — Rhode Island State Police say two children reported missing in 1985 have been found in the Houston area and their noncustodial mother has been charged with snatching them.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — The Spartanburg County sheriff said Thursday that an Anderson woman who went missing in August was found alive and being held captive in the Woodruff area.

ELKHART — A woman accused of abducting two of her children from an Allen County home is now facing two preliminary charges of murder after telling an Elkhart police officer her children were dead in the backseat of a car she was driving.
