North Webster Community Center is hosting its Tenth Anniversary Celebration this weekend. A variety of activities will be going on at the community center, including karate demonstrations, edible offerings, a kid’s carnival, sports activities and more.

The complete schedule is as follows:

• 9-10 a.m.:                   Yoga with Laura, free class in the Teen Center
• 10 a.m.:                       YMCA Open House
• 10 a.m.:                       Beach Volleyball Tournament starts
• 10a.m. to noon:           Taekwondo demonstration in the gymnasium
• 10 a.m.-2p.m.:            Sample goodies from The Cake Lady
• 10 a.m.-2p.m.:            Kid’s Carnival
• 10 a.m.-2p.m.:            SPEC Open House – Refreshments and card games
• 10:30 a.m.:                  Library Story Time and crafts
• 10:30 a.m.:                  Free Throw Contest on the outside courts
• 11 a.m.:                       Aiki Jutsu of Northern Indiana Demonstration in the gym
• 11:30 a.m.:                  Three Point Contest on the outside courts
• 11:30 a.m.:                  Library Story Time and crafts
• 12:30 p.m.:                  Fitnessentials – Doterra oil presentation in the SPEC hallway
• 12:30 p.m.:                  Library Story Time and crafts
• 1 p.m.:                         Imagination Project award ceremony in the art room
• 2 p.m.:                         Laser Light Show in the gym. Bring non-perishable food item.

Kid’s Carnival includes a bounce house, mystery box, ping-pong toss, cookie/cake walk, water balloon, face painting and more. Game tickets are 10 for $1. Face painting will cost $5. Fair food will be available for purchase during the event.
