On Saturday, Aug. 2, children ages 4 to 10 enjoyed a day of fun at the Old Jail Museum. The theme was the soap box derby. Children ran an obstacle course where they hung up helmets, tossed steering wheels into a container, put together a soap box car and drove a Big Wheel along a course.
Participants also raced a miniature, wooden toy car against the museum’s car and toured the soap box derby exhibit. The soap box derby exhibit continues through September, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana, Warsaw. Admission is by donation.
