Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Sunday, April 27, 2:33 a.m. North 575 East near East 150 North, Warsaw. Driver: Lacey L. Savage, 33, Mid Lake Drive, North Webster. Savage swerved to miss a deer, ran off the road, and rolled the vehicle. Savage declined medical treatment at the scene. Damages: up to $10,000

Saturday, April 26, 9:55 p.m. North 800 West near West 400 North, Atwood. Driver: Jon W. Engle, 31, East 400 South, Warsaw. Engle drove off the road and struck a utility pole. Alcohol was determined to be a factor in the accident, and an OWI investigation was conducted by the Indiana State Police. Damages: up to $10,000

Saturday, April 26, 5:39 p.m. South 700 East near East 850 South, Pierceton. Drivers: Mia K. Delacruz, 18, Wooster Road, Pierceton; and Brandon J. Hughes, 18, Market Street, North Manchester. Delacruz collided with Hughes after exiting the roadway to make room for a large tractor. Hughes’ passenger, Destinie Kuhn, 19, of North Manchester, was checked by EMS at the scene. Damages: up to $10,000

Saturday, April 26, 3:07 p.m. SR 15 near School Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Xiong Lee, 51, Tanner Run, Coldwater, Mich.; and Laree A. Couwenhoven, 55, Lantz Lane, Schererville. Lee tried to pass Couwenhoven but the two collided. Damages: up to $2,500

Saturday, April 26, 2:49 p.m. SR 25 near South 900 West, Mentone. Drivers: Brandi R. Reichert, 18, Madison Street, Rochester; and Jodi R. Philpot, 42, 250 North, Warsaw. Reichert rear-ended Philpot. Philpot and two child passengers were transported to KCH for complaints of pain. Damages: up to $10,000

Saturday, April 26, 4:31 a.m. SR 13 near Backwater Road, North Webster. Driver: Anna J. Watkins, 58, Wesley Lane, North Webster. Driver hit a deer. Damage: up to $5,000

Friday, April 25, 11:32 p.m. SR 25 near South 600 West, Warsaw. Driver: Jeffrey M. Fancil, 51, Barrett Road, Rochester. Fancil lost control of his motorcycle and ran off the side of the road. He refused medical treatment at the scene. Damages: up to $5,000

Friday, April 25, 9:18 p.m. 8000 block of West 800 North, Etna Green. Driver: Jason L. Chupp, 16, West 800 North, Nappanee. Chupp was backing out of a driveway and backed into a parked car. Damages: up to $2,500

Friday, April 25, 9:08 p.m. SR 19 near West 250 North, Etna Green. Driver: Nichole M. Yoder, 33, West 800 North, Nappanee. Yoder lost control of her vehicle, exited the roadway and the vehicle rolled. Yoder complained of pain in her shoulder. Damages: up to $5,000

Friday, April 25, 5:25 p.m. North 150 West near North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Stacie L. Slone, 41, West 225 North, Etna Green. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500

Friday, April 25, 12:17 p.m. South 800 West near West 100 South, Warsaw. Drivers: Erica J. Durand, 35, Wexford Place, Warsaw; and Travis C. Hiers, 23, Ivan Lane, Claypool. Durand pulled into the intersection causing a collision with Hiers. Damages: up to $10,000

Sunday, April 27, 4:24 p.m. Center Street near Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Shawn J. Baker, 25, EMS B33 A Lane, Warsaw; and Ethel S. Barnes, 54, West 400 South, Warsaw. Baker rear-ended Barnes. Damages: up to $2,500
