Francis G. ‘Fran’ Sheehan, 63, of Leesburg, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at his home.

He was born on Oct.17, 1950, in Blue Island, Ill., to Robert Thomas and Loretta Lillian (Bunyea) Sheehan.

He grew up in Blue Island, and attended the public schools there. He moved to the North Webster, Ind., area in 2005 from Illinois and was the former owner and operator of 3rd Generation Antiques in North Webster and Crete, Ill., for 20 years. He formerly attended the United Methodist Church in North Webster.

He is survived by a son: Sean Sheehan, Leesburg, Ind.; a daughter: Megan Sheehan, Brooklyn, N.Y.; four sisters: Loretta Wolke, Illinois; Alice (Hank) Wolke, Florida; Mary (Larry) Kalins, Illinois; Rita Henke, Wisconsin; five brothers: Bill (Pat) Sheehan, Tennessee; David Sheehan, Arizona; Tim Sheehan, Minnesota; Dennis (Denise) Sheehan, Minnesota; and Brian (Melinda) Sheehan, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Marge Polster; and four brothers: James, Bob, Tom and Michael Sheehan.

No public services are planned at this time. Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice.
