WARSAW – A ribbon-cutting event was held Monday, July 27, for Hogs R Wild Barbeque.

Hogs R Wild originally opened on Thursday, Jan. 2, located at 1527 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. The restaurant is run by Mark Poling, who operated his business as a food truck for four years. As recently joined members of the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, a ribbon-cutting was held to officially welcome the restaurant.

The restaurant, which specializes in all wood-fired BBQ, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, or until sold out, Thursdays through Saturdays.

The menu includes BBQ staples like pork, brisket, chicken and ribs, along with items like wontons and egg rolls. All food at Hogs R Wild is “made fresh every single day of operation,” Poling said.

According to Poling, the restaurant is run by a small group of people who aren’t just employees, but family.
