SYRACUSE — The Syracuse Lake Association Breakfast and Annual Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, has been cancelled.

The SLA Board and breakfast chairwoman, Linda Earnest made the announcement this morning, Thursday, July 23, after careful consideration. “With the addition of new restrictions established by the governor beginning July 27, we felt that we could not provide a safe environment.

“We appreciate Lt. John Karris of the Department of Natural Resources for volunteering to be a part of the program. We also appreciate association member John Stump and Main Channel Marina for sponsoring our breakfast. Hopefully, they can be a part of our program for next year.”
