News Release
WARSAW – There will be a blood drive from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1720 E. Center St., Warsaw.
The Warsaw High School blood drive is sponsored by Warsaw High School JAG.
JAG stands for Jobs for America’s Graduates, a grant-funded program at Warsaw Community High School which is designed to help juniors and seniors develop career and life skills, financial literacy, and plan for the transition of living with their family to living on their own.
One of the requirements of the program is to complete community service hours. This year, our big project is sponsoring a blood drive to address the statewide shortage of donated units due to COVID-19.
Currently, 4,000 blood drives have been cancelled nationwide causing a shortage in donated blood.
