Claypool

Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, East Calhoun Street, north of Graceland Avenue, Claypool. Driver: Andrew J. Miller, 30, Hemlock Lane, Warsaw. Miller pulled off the west side of the road to do utility work. When leaving, he forgot about the fire hydrant on the right side of his vehicle. The passenger door of Miller’s vehicle struck the hydrant. Damages up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 7:03 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, Winona Avenue, east of North Bay Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jerry D. Phillips, 51, South CR 300E, Warsaw; and Gabrielle S. Lee, 21, Biscayne Lane, Cromwell. Phillips’ vehicle rear-ended Lee’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500. 
• 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, Boeing Road, Warsaw. Driver: Joanna A. Taylor, 24, Robby Drive, Warsaw. Taylor said she was driving east on Boeing Road and thought she saw something in the roadway. She swerved, and her vehicle struck a fire hydrant. Damages up to $5,000.
