FORT WAYNE — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Fort Wayne man.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Trent D. Thomas, a 50-year-old black man who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is missing from Fort Wayne, which is 121 miles northeast of Indianapolis, and was last seen at 10:02 a.m. Monday, June 1. He is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
