LEESBURG – Restrictions on boating have now been lifted for Tippecanoe Lake and others.

The original order issued on May 21 that restricted motorboat operation to idle speed only is no longer in effect as of Friday, May 29.

Boaters on Tippecanoe Lake, James Lake, and Oswego Lake are now allowed to resume normal boating operations. The Barbee chain of lakes is still under the idle speed restriction.
