New Release

WARSAW – Pack 3777 Cub Scouts, Mentone; S.A.L. #49, and American Legion Auxiliary #49, both of Warsaw, placed American Flags for Memorial Day in Palestine and Wooden (Harrison Center) Cemeteries on May 18 to honor and remember our local veterans.

A Harrison Center Veteran, Corporal John P. Hannold, of the New Jersey Militia, served in the War of 1812. Hannold was born in 1782 and died in 1848 and is still recognized for his sacrifice to this day, 207 years later, along with all of his comrades in arms who served their country faithfully when duty called.
