Sixth Annual Silver Lake Fire Dinner And Auction Is Saturday

SILVER LAKE — The sixth annual Silver Lake Fire Dinner and Auction, hosted by the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department, will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
The dinner will take place at the new fire station at 702 E. Main St., Silver Lake.
The dinner is a freewill donation tenderloin with french fries.
The dinner will be drive-thru. The online auction is being organized by Metzger Property Services, Silver Lake. Bidding will take place this week and will end Saturday, May 9.
The auction is being done online this year due to social distancing recommendations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration is required and a credit card is required in order to bid; however, you may pay with cash, check or credit card. You do not pay for the items until you pick them up.
Items available at the auction include tickets to Cedar Point, the Indianapolis Zoo, Holiday World, French Lick Scenic Railroad, Chicago Laugh Factory and Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, Creation Museum, Indiana State Museum and Kings Island, gift cards for Firekeepers Casino, Kersting’s Cycle Center, City Barbecue, Henry Ford Museum, Casey’s General Stores, Melting Pot in Indianapolis, Four Winds Casino, Belle Tire and Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum, a goodie box from Sugarlands Distilling, passes to Snow Trails and African Safari Wildlife Park, a family fun pack from Sky Zone in Mishawaka and Fort Wayne, three gift buckets from Texas Roadhouse, a private tour for 12 to DeBrand Fine Chocolates, a gift bag from the Bob & Tom Show, two shirts from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a Kevin Harvick Pit Jacket from Stewart-Haas Racing, a Notre Dame football signed by Brian Kelly and a guitar from Sweetwater.
