Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 11:10 a.m. Sunday, May 26, 8200 block of East US 30, Pierceton. Police responded to the Corissa Prater residence to investigate the theft of vitamins and mouthwash.
- 3:36 p.m. Friday, May 24, 3000 block of West CR 200N, Warsaw. Police responded to the Phillip Moore residence to investigate a theft from a barn. Taken was a brad nailer, a socket wrench, and air compressor, an air compressor double tank, a generator, a chain saw, a wheel barrow, an engine compression tester, a trolling motor, a grinder, a leaf blower and a ladder. Value: $2,959.
- 5:17 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 9600 block of East CR 1050N, Cromwell. Police responded to the Jessica Murphy residence to investigate a criminal mischief. A vehicle break-in was attempted. Damage: $500.
- 2:27 p.m. Monday, May 20, 100 block of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Police responded to the Matthew Francis residence to investigate a burglary. The caller’s garage was entered and items were taken without permission. Taken were 16 Barbie dolls in original boxes, two toy angels, four vehicle rims, one case of sockets, two air nailers, one 1/2-inch impact driver, a circular saw, a reciprocating saw, two clamps, a Black and Decker power drill, a full set of ratchets and sockets, a household tool set, a full Dremel set, two car ramps, a belt sander, a 50-foot extension cord, four cases of nuts, bolts and washers, an air soft shotgun, a canopy set, a full-sized sword, a work light, 1:64-scale NASCAR car, five clear cases of Hot Wheels cars, Hot Wheels cars in a blue case and Hot Wheels cars in a red case. Value: $3,401.
North Webster
Officers from the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:44 p.m. Monday, May 27, 400 block of Viewpoint Drive, North Webster. Police responded to the Norma Tyler residence to investigate a theft. Dish service was stolen from a customer.
Syracuse
Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 12:47 a.m. Sunday, May 26, 400 block of North Main Street, Syracuse. Police responded to the Jessica Hites residence to investigate a criminal mischief. Damage was done to a van.

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:34 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Keys to a Lexus were located in the parking lot of Pike Lake beach.
- 6:44 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to a shoplifting report from Walmart.
- 3:09 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police responded to a report from Lucy Beachy, who reported a criminal mischief, damage to a vehicle.
- 2:56 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Police investigated a theft of numerous clothing items from Walmart.
- 11:31 a.m. Monday, May 27, 1800 block of Sue Avenue, Warsaw. Police responded to the Sandon Allen residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was a Bulova watch, a DVD player, an X-Box 1 with 10 games, a Nintendo 64 and several games, cable television components, 50 DVDs, two collectible figurines and a charging cord for a hoverboard. Value: $2,806.
- 8:55 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 400 block of West Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Kenneth Swain residence to investigate a theft. $400 was taken from the center console of a vehicle.
- 12:04 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2400 block of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a theft report at Lowe’s. Taken was Dewalt tool kit. Value: $699.
- 11:56 a.m. Friday, May 24, 100 block of South Wood Street, Warsaw. Police investigated a report of a stolen vehicle.
- 3:08 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2400 block of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Police responded to a theft report at Lowe’s. Taken was Craftsman 3,000-watt Inverter and a Husqvarna chain saw. Value: $1,308.99.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 9:50 p.m. Friday, May 24, 1200 block of Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Police responded to the Jim Hamilton residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was a virtual reality headset, an HDMI cord, an X-Box 1, a Google Chrombook and a Playstation PS4. Value: $680.
