SYRACUSE — Wawasee announced via Twitter Tuesday night that Jon Reutebuch will take the helm of the Warriors football program.

Reutebuch is the program’s special teams coordinator and a former track coach at the high school. He takes over for Mike Eshbach, who amassed a 4-16 record over two seasons as head coach before announcing his retirement in October, following a 1-9 campaign.

“Very excited about the future of Wawasee Football… tonight Coach Jon Reutebuch takes the reins of the program! Let’s go Warriors!” read the Wawasee Athletics Twitter account Tuesday night.
