Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

6:44 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, East CR 400S, north of South CR 400E, Pierceton. Driver: Jestina L. Schultz, 45, East CR 500S, Warsaw. Schultz told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on CR 400E when she mis-judged a stop sign and slid through the intersection, striking a guard rail. Damage up to $5,000.

10:09 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, South Packerton Road, north of East CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Carlos L. Chavarria, 30, Meadowdale Drive, North Manchester. Chavarria told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on Packerton Road when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

11:29 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, East Old Road 30, east of North CR 650E, Pierceton. Driver: Whitney M. Dunn, 27, East Goodison Road, North Webster. Dunn told police she was driving her vehicle eastbound on Old Road 30 when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

9:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, West CR 450N, west of North SR 19, Etna Green. Driver: David R. Mast, 19, North CR 800W, Etna Green. Mast told police he was driving his vehicle westbound on CR 450N when a dog entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the dog with his vehicle. Damage less that $750.

6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, East CR 1100N, west of North CR 1000E, Cromwell. Driver: Thaddeus J. Dubois, 45, East CR 800N, North Webster. Dubois told police he was driving his vehicle east on CR 1100N when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

5:37 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, West US 30 and North CR 800W, Atwood. Driver: Phillip J. Cullers, 39, Dickson Street, Plymouth. Cullers told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on US 30 when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers from the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:12 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, SR 13, north of Executive Blvd., Syracuse. Driver: Pamela S. Maynard, 55, North SR 13, Syracuse. Maynard told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:02 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, North Detroit Street and Gilliam Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Ryan N. Crippin, 24, Heron Blvd., Warsaw. Crippin told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on North Detroit Street when a deer impacted the side of his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

6:09 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, Briar Ridge Circle, north of Shelden Street, Warsaw. Driver: Legrand B. Neal, 53, Poplar Street, Warsaw. Neal advised he was traveling south on Shelden Street when his vehicle struck two parked, unoccupied vehicles. Damage up to $25,000.

9:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, US 30, east of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda L. Dietrich, 41, East CR 650S, LaPorte. Dietrich told police she was driving her vehicle westbound on US 30 when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
