WAWASEE 3, WHITKO 2
Wawasee’s boys tennis team picked up a 3-2 win over Whitko at home Tuesday.

Zach Leedy beat Micah Hokl 6-2, 6-1 at 1 singles, Graham Perek put away Aiden Hoffman 6-0, 6-4 at 2 singles, and Jacob Krugman and Grant Brooks combined for a 6-1, 6-0 win over Nate Smith and Bryce Tucker at 1 doubles for the Warriors’ three match points.

Colin Rhoades came up a little short in a three-setter at 3 singles, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3, versus Devon Akers. Clayton Firestone and Zeke Keim fell 6-2, 6-1 to Jonathan Strayer and Jackson Hollenbaugh at 2 doubles.

Wawasee’s JV also won, 3-1.

The Warriors varsity moved to 3-2. They host Plymouth in a Northern Lakes Conference match Thursday.

GOSHEN 4, WARSAW 1
Warsaw suffered a 4-1 Northern Lakes Conference setback to visiting Goshen Tuesday.

Warsaw’s lone win came at 1 doubles, where Nolan Knight and Spencer Britton topped Ben Bontrager-Singer and Diego Torres, 6-2, 7-6(5). The Tigers were also competitive at 2 doubles, but Michael Ray and Jarrett Orr lost to Wyatt Fisher and Axel Brown, 6-3, 7-5. Caleb Williams fell 6-0, 6-1 to Ryan Harmelink at 1 singles, Ruben Williams fell 6-0, 6-3 to Wes Beck at 2 singles, and Brian Elliott dropped his 3 singles match with Carlos Lichty, 6-2, 6-1 as Warsaw shuffled its lineup at 3 singles and 2 doubles.

The Tigers play at Culver Military today.

TRITON 5, LAVILLE 0
Triton moved to an even 2-2 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference with a 5-0 win over LaVille.

The Lancers forfeited matches on a full three courts, John Gardner put away Zach Rutherford, 6-1, 6-0 at 1 singles, and Jared Bules beat David Clayton 6-0, 6-0 at 2 singles.

The Trojans improved to 3-4 overall. They host Plymouth today.

PERU 5, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 0
Tippecanoe Valley fell 5-0 to Peru Tuesday.

Payton Mills lost 6-0, 6-1 at 1 singles, Connor Frentzel fell 6-0, 6-0 at 2 singles, and Ethan yates lost 6-0, 6-0 at 3 singles.

Valley plays at Knox today.
