KOSCIUSKO — On Saturday, July 21, the Burket, Mentone and Akron fire departments along with the Kosciusko County Red Cross partnered with Tippecanoe Valley Schools to hold a school bus extrication training day. 

The goal of the training was to simulate multiple scenarios of a bus accident. Members are now more prepared to handle school bus-related accidents that may occur in the community.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department provided training and Reichert & Knepp Towing provided wrecker services.
