Curt Nisly deserves congratulations for winning the primary earlier this month.  However, the overwhelming support he received was not surprising as he has been and remains dedicated to the district he continues to serve.  From meeting countless voters going door to door to protecting their interests in Indianapolis, Nisly remains a model of a fine public servant.  Not a promise he makes is taken lightly and he continues to keep them with every vote.  So the good people of northern Kosciusko County and southern Elkhart are lucky to have him representing their interests.

As said, Nisly is always available for his constituents.  Even when not on the campaign trail, he continues to meet with those constituents by both hosting coffee meetups and attending events.  Not long ago, he went to a meeting of the Syracuse Town Council to stay up to date on local issues.  Town Council President Bill Musser praised him for attending the event as it showed his sincerity.  Without a doubt, he works tirelessly to make sure he is always representing those of District 22.

Nisly’s devotion to the district has not always made him popular with the politicians in the state legislature, but that dedication keeps him qualified as it’s representative.  He has promised to represent local issues to Indy and protecting localism was his first campaign promise.  Staying true to his principles sets him apart as an ideal representative.  As Thomas Jefferson once said, “In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.”  No one has exemplified this better than Representative Nisly as he continues to remain true to his principles while always putting his constituents first.
