Warsaw Basketball: Frosh Teams Top Goshen
GOSHEN – The Warsaw freshmen basketball teams each picked up road wins at Goshen in Northern Lakes Conference play Thursday night.
The Warsaw ladies topped the hosts 34-7.
Lindsey Bradley led the way for Warsaw, which led 8-0 after the first quarter, with 15 points.
Aubrey Hepler scored eight points and Maddie Whitaker and Ema Jenkins each had four. Sydney Lancaster added two points and MacKenzie Kohler one.
The Warsaw boys team made it nine wins in a row by downing the RedHawks 40-23.
Brock Poe led a balanced offense with nine points for Warsaw, which improves to 10-2 overall and goes to 4-0 in NLC play.
The trio of Landon Stanger, Ben Bergen and Luke Adamiec each had six points for the Tigers. Bishop Walters scored five points and Caleb Sands two.
