SYRACUSE – Fairfield managed the final minutes of the freshman boys basketball game Monday to hold off Wawasee, 28-25. The Warriors had Trevon Coleman score 14 of the home side’s 25 points and Jairus Boyer was held to five points. Wawasee’s freshman squad falls to 8-4 overall and next host Concord Thursday evening.

SYRACUSE – Wawasee Athletics announced this afternoon the freshman boys basketball game with East Noble, originally scheduled for Jan. 8, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 4. The game at Wawasee will have a 6 p.m. tip. Wawasee’s freshman team are 7-3 this season and play again next Thursday at Plymouth.
