SYRACUSE — A Syracuse man was arrested after breaking multiple household items and shoving a female victim. When the officer arrived, the man became defiant and yelled at the officer.
Gil Fabian Rodriguez, 24, 201 E. Baltimore St., Syracuse, was booked for domestic battery.
On Dec. 9, an officer with the Syracuse Police Department responded to a domestic battery call at Rodriguez’s Syracuse address. Upon arrival, a female victim stated Rodriguez was “going crazy” and breaking everything inside the residence. She further advised that Rodriguez shoved her against a cabinet and attempted to hit her. Three minor children were present during the incident.
The officer entered the residence and observed broken items all over the residence. According to the affidavit of probable cause filed on Jan. 6, Rodriguez became defiant and argumentative and yelled at the officer. The officer arrested Rodriguez who advised he has anger issues.
Rodriguez was previously arrested in August after firing a handgun into the air several times during an argument.
